Before Lady Bee rose from the coma, her husband, Gherardus Fabbro, started seeing other women, planning to take a new wife after the inevitable occurred. But the inevitable didn’t happen. Lady Bee was still alive.
Michela Pinto was a widow and one of the women brought in to care for Talento, Lady Bee’s newborn. It was then she caught Gherardus’ eye.
‘I’m one step away from the throne of Parthenope now. And why not me? If Gherardus finds me attractive and is going to wed again, why not me? I didn’t look to seduce him. He came to me. Now that I can create hardcover books, I decided to re-edit and update all the older books in The Crystal Crux Series. Betrayal, Blue Grotto and Cold Knight are now all updated as 2nd editions and available in Kindle, Paperback and Hardcover.
I am almost done re-editing and updating Shimmer and that 2nd edition will be released in the near future.
Beautiful is the only book in The Crystal Crux Series that was released in all three formats and won’t have a 2nd edition.

“Get out!” Gherardus yelled from another part of the field, his pointing hand having a sparkle of gold light from the ring on his finger.
Francis Whitehall said, “Eagles Pass,” and Pero spun again. His best friend was in the field reading from a scroll. “You have been commanded to…” Francis’ voice and image faded before he could finish.
The world glitched and Pero heard Anthea crying behind him.
Dizzy from all the spinning, he spun again. He was nose to nose with a wooden door. Pero heard himself saying, “Beyond this door is death.”
A serpent of gold light weaved its way through the grains of wood as the voice returned, saying, “My servants never rest. My servants never die.”
