This is part of my therapy project while I’m working on my next book. A countdown of my 1000 favorite songs. This list has no historical significance. I’m not trying to include great artists or songs that changed music history or anything like that. This is me, personally, and what I prefer to listen to. I hope you agree with some and maybe learn about a few bands and songs you never heard before.

You will see a number/number beside each band or artist’s name. The second number represents how many songs by this band or artist are included in this list. The first number represents the rank of this particular song in the band or artist’s catalogue according to me.

1/1 means the band or artist only has one song on the list and this is it.

2/2 would mean the band or artist has two songs on the list and this is number 2.
1/2 would be the band or artist’s best song.
