I’ve been experimenting with various programs, trying to figure out what works and doesn’t work for me.

To set the scene, the dragon Ophis has gathered unto himself four of the five Bellerophon Crystals and needs one more to complete the structure he is attempting to build. He can’t infiltrate the place in Parthenope where the Crux of his configuration lies, so he recruits imps to do his bidding, creatures that were once human but have his blood now flowing through their veins, poisoning it with his wickedness, greed and vile passions.
Viridian, a ward of the court in Parthenope, caught up in her own loneliness and despair, jilted by her lover and once on the verge of suicide, has now entered Ophis’ service and become an imp, but she cannot fully transform like her handler, Didian.
Ophis, impatient, feeling his time is short, sensing disruptions to the songs of the universe, wants to finish his work before something unexpected happens.
He rushes Viridian into service. The Crystal he seeks is in the possession of Sinibaldus, a giant albino magician who unassumingly operates a circus of misfits using the powers of the Crystal.
Sinibaldus is an old and ill man who lusts after Viridian’s youth and beauty. He wants to name a queen to his circus before he passes, someone he can leave the Crystal to. Until now, Viridian has spurned all of his advances. Ophis knows she can get close enough to him to take it.

With the blood of the dragon flowing through her veins, Viridian surprisingly prophesizes using some strange words she should not yet know, influencing Ophis into thinking she is ready to perform the mission to retrieve the Crystal he desperately seeks.
