For some of us self-published authors, there is little or no money to invest in the project.  We have to do nearly everything ourselves including editing, formatting for publishing and designing the covers.

I’ll admit, I really enjoy designing the covers.  And now that I’m slowly starting to master Photoshop (master is an exaggeration – I’m just better than I used to be a year ago), the ideas and designs are pouring out of me.

The hardest part is deciding what to use and what not to use.

The featured image on this article is one of the ideas I discarded but wanted an excuse to use – so here it is.

Still hoping to have the third book in the series, The Crystal Crux – Cold Knight, published by the first week of December.
