For a year or so, I did a lot of research and practice binding books.  It was a lot of fun and a lot of work.  I envy the craftsman who take the time to do this by hand with extreme precision.

While I was learning that skill, I bound a short story I had written for my wife.  It was a Cinderella-type tale she really enjoyed reading.

I’ve decided to revisit, rewrite and publish that short story.

At the start, I thought it would be simple and had foolishly intended to push the story out before Valentine’s Day but once I got back into the story, I realized how much work I had to do to make it something I could publish.  It’s one thing to write a simply story to entertain at home, and another to put something out on the open market that people will pay to read.

I’m putting great effort into the project but not setting a timeline.  If it gets done quickly, I’ll be pleased.  If not, I’ll also be pleased.

I’ve included some of the pictures of the original bound book I did without revealing the cover or title.  I’ll do a book cover reveal and title announcement when the release date gets closer.
