I have finally started reacquainting myself with Affinity Photo which I purchased a while back. I think I will eventually purchase the Affinity Designer suite as well but for now, I’m going to play with this and see what I can do with it. Also grab some add-ons to give pictures some flare.

This title picture is sort of an obituary for Meliore Fabbro. Her sad story is the one that begins The Crystal Crux tale. She is our step off point in the first book, Betrayal.

All seems well and good as we learn that she is basically the Queen of Parthenope and has returned early from holiday to surprise her husband.

Little does she, or we, the reader, suspect that assassins intended to kill him tonight. In the dark of his study, she is murdered.

Who has done this grave evil? What forces are moving through this world? And why is there a little green lizard slithering around paying such close attention to matters?

The Crystal Crux is an epic/dark fantasy series set in a real-world medieval setting. Beneath the history and lore are magical forces and acts of heroism and faith.

There are currently four books in the series. Betrayal, Blue Grotto, Cold Knight and Shimmer.

The fifth and final book should be available before the end of 2022.
