I found some extra time, so here is an extra post on my countdown of the best 500 songs ever made according to me. I started counting down from 1000, so you can all the way back and look at those posts if you are so inclined.
My countdown system is currently based only on the top 500.
After the year the song was released, you will see two numbers that look like this 3/8.
The second number (in this case – 8), would refer to how many songs this band has in my top 500 songs.
The first number (in this case – 3), would refer to how this song ranks by the band itself. 3 means this is the bands 3rd best song.
If the number is 3/8, then the songs that have already been posted (4/8, 5/8, 6/8, 7/8, 8/8) will be listed below the song and you can be sure there are still two more songs by this band to come. Got it? Good.

It’s getting more and more difficult to choose because all of these songs are great songs that I listen to all the time. They probably don’t deserve to be down in the 300s but there it is. How would you have arranged these 10 songs?
