Helloween is a German Power Metal band founded in 1984. The initial lineup featured Vocalist/Guitarist Kai Hansen, guitarist Michael Weikath, bassist Markus Grosskopf, and drummer Ingo Schwichtenberg.
There have been a few lineup changes over the years.
Kai Hansen left to form a band called Gamma Ray.
Michael Kiske took over the vocal duties in Kai’s absence. Schwichtenberg died in 1995.
For a time, Weikath and Grosskopf were the only original members. Andi Deris joined as vocalist. Sascha Gerstner and drummer Daniel Loble joined as well. And eventually, Kai Hansen returned giving the band three talented vocalists which the current lineup.
Helloween have created 17 studio albums and are currently on a 40 year anniversary tour which I got to see in April 2026. I recorded some songs, and some parts of songs, and will include those performances below. I’ll also include in this post the actual videos of the songs they performed live of the ones I recorded.

I don’t own the rights to any of this music. This is just a tribute to a band that was one of my brother’s favorite bands back in the 80s & 90s. RIP Steve.
